are the opening and closing prayers, noon blessing, and the Memorial
Lesson from the 2010 Pacific Northwest Sacred Harp
Convention-Washington, held at the Mercer Island VFW Hall. The quality
of our singing on these three songs has been influenced by our emotions
as we contemplated the names of those unable to attend our convention
due to ill health and those singers who have died since our 2009
